Legacy Giving

Every day, Charles E. Smith Life Communities (CESLC) cares for elders in countless ways. Each person we serve is someone's mother, father, child, sibling, or spouse. By making a planned gift to benefit us, you will touch whole families for years to come.

Planned gifts include designating CESLC as a beneficiary of an IRA/retirement plan or life insurance policy, bequests in wills or trusts, charitable gifts that provide income for life, and trusts that benefit both CESLC and heirs. Planned gifts typically include some type of tax benefit in addition to the satisfaction of taking care of those who had taken care of us.
